Positives

  • Fun easy ride
  • Competent front foot grip

Negatives

  • Back half can feel washy in hard snow
  • Not the best for under size 10 boots in mid-range sizes
  • No pow set back like the Pyzel

Summary

The YES All In has the same shape of the Pyzel but with a softer flex and a more forgiving camber profile. There is very little set back on board for pow so if this had set back inserts it would be a very recommendable ride.

Update 2025: The YES All In has not changed in 2025 so this review still stands.

James’s Set Up: 21.5” Wide. Sance Angles +18/-3, +18/+3, +18/-9, +15/-15. Close to Reference on groomers and Set all the way back in the little bit of powder we had.
Davey’s Set Up: 23” Wide. Sance Angles +18/-3, +18/+3. Close to Reference on groomers and Set all the way back in powder.

How It Was Tested

Every day I rode this I rode the YES Pyzel just because they have the same shape n sidecut.

Approximate Weight

The YES All-In felt normal for this much surface area in a 158. (We don’t put in the exact weight because with wood cores there is no consistency in a boards weight)

Sizing

The YES All-In only has a 25.5cm waist but man it is much wider over the inserts. My 185lbs could handle this much better than the Pyzel but it still felt like too much board for my boot size.

The 160w worked well for Davey’s 12’s pretty well but his 240lbs might be better with the 164.

Here are some ideal US boot sizes for the YES All-In boards. You can of course go bigger or smaller depending on your riding style and boot’s footprint, but these work best for not turning the board slower than it should be and not having the dreaded Toe & Heel Drag.
148: 7-8
150: 8-9
154: 9-10
158: 10-11
162: 11-12
155w: 11-12
160w: 11.5-12.5
164w: 12-13

For weight I think its best to stay close to YES’ recommended weight ranges. I would make sure it fits your boot first and then your weight a close second but with this board it is ok to go a little higher.

Shape

The YES All-In is somewhat like they made a tapered directional YES Standard but left out the set back inserts. I didn’t really feel any taper with this ride and it felt very centered.

Camber/On Snow Feel/Ability Level

The YES All-In has a more mellow camrock profile with a decent camber going past the inserts but rockering up pretty well before the nose/tail. This makes for a more forgiving easy to skid turns kind of ride vs. the Pyzel. Both track very well one footing and flat basing.

Flex Personality

Yes All-In Flex

The Pyzel was too stiff but the YES All-In was just right. This mediumish feeling flex on snow combined with the mellower camber made this a lot of fun to butter with and it ollied easier. If you put a lot into the Pyzel it would pop harder but it took a lot out of us to do so.

Uneven Terrain

Yes All-In Uneven Terrain

Davey and I both felt that the Pyzel was better in uneven snow but the YES All-In did very well and we had zero complaints.

Edge Hold

The YES All-In’s edge hold is lopsided. The top indention grips very well but the bottom indentation didn’t grip as hard. So it made you want to lean hard into the front foot in harder snow. Good thing is it didn’t wash out on the back when you did which can often happen with a tapered board.

Speed/Base Glide

The base is extruded with the YES All-In and that isn’t the best. We liked the sintered base of the Pyzel better.

Turning Experience/Carving

Yes All In Turning and Carving

If you size the YES All-In correctly boot size wise this should initiate a turn on the medium fast side of things. Once you get it on edge you have a pretty balanced/middle ground turning experience that can handle any radius you want to throw at it. I thought the mellower camber would be boring to carve but it wasn’t too much worse vs. the Pyzel with more camber

Powder

YES didn’t’ get this to us in time to get some real pow. We just got a little spring cream cheese that wasn’t even worth putting in the vids. It should float pretty well but nothing like the Pyzel with -1.65” more set back on board vs. the All-In. Speaking of the All-In only has 2” of set back on board with a 22.5” stance width for the 158. The Pyzel is -3.675”. Based on how much I liked the YES Standard and Standard Uninc in pow with their 2.25” set back on board with no true taper these will do very well.

Switch/Pipe/Jumps

Very doable switch. Davey really liked it in the kicker line.

Conclusion

So I think Davey and I both liked the YES All-In a little better but it came with a few caveats. 1st we were really bummed they didn’t put set back inserts on this. We can live with everything else, even the excluded base but not having the set back inserts for average riders that like that cheater float made us hesitant to buy. If you don’t set your board back in pow then this might work though.
