Salomon Pearl 2016 - 2010 Review by The Good Ride
The Salomon Pearl is a cheap beginner boot for those that don’t want stinky rentals. Salomon makes good boots and this is a decent all mountain boot for beginners. The Pearl doesn’t have the same speed lace as the other Salomon boots which makes this like a single BOA boot. That means you can’t adjust the upper and lower at all. This is fine for a beginner that doesn’t want much of a hassle but as you grow into intermediate and advanced you will start to have adjustment needs. The responses of the Pearl is pretty good for a boot of its price so if you can get past the nonadjustable speed lace then this is a good beginner boot. It really beats renting and it’s still made with the same quality control as all Salomon Boots are.
