Weston Rise 2020 Review by The Good Ride
The Weston Rise Women’s snowboard is an all mountain freestyle deck, that is a directional twin, with camber under the feet, reverse camber on the nose and tail, and a medium flex. This board has a mid-wide waist width to help with float and surface area in soft snow, and would be good for riders with a bigger boot size as well. Even though it has a wider waist width, my 7.5 boot didn’t feel too small to turn the board. It was still a lot of fun on groomers, but I did prefer it in softer snow.
The Weston Rise likes small to medium radius turns, has a good amount of pop, and is a lot of fun for hitting natural features around the mountain, riding switch, and playing all over the mountain.
