Summary

The Salomon Pillow Talk is a directional tapered board that feels like a twin when you are riding it. The Pillow Talk has flat between the feet, camber on the outside of the bindings, and rocker on the nose and tail. It's a mid-wide board as well so the 9 and up boot size ladies can check this one out! But that doesn't mean a smaller foot can't have fun on it. My 7.5 boot felt fine turning this board on groomers and in powder. It is a little slower to turn because of the wider waist width. But the added surface area on snow helps a lot when floating in deeper snow. This board was fun to go fast on, carve, and play in soft snow, and it has Salomon's Quadralizer on the side cut for added edge hold in ice. The Salomon Pillow Talk would be good for someone looking for a powder board, or someone looking for a board that carves well, or both. It would be ideal for an intermediate to advanced rider that doesn't ride switch too much (but switch can happen if you want and it doesn't feel too bad), or someone that feels at home on a twin and wants to keep that feel under foot, but wants a board that can handle in deep snow as well.
