Lib Tech Dynamiss 2020 Review by The Good Ride

The Lib Tech Dynamiss is a tapered directional ride that is very stable and quick to turn. It has a medium flex and Lib’s Magne-Traction on the side-cut for riding in icy conditions. Thea and I both really felt at home on this board right away, and had a lot of fun on it. It seemed easy to figure out, predictable, and had a hard charging personality without feeling too aggressive under foot. We really liked how easy and quick the Lib Tech Dynamiss was to turn and how smooth it felt to ride.

The Lib Tech Dynamiss could be a good choice for an intermediate to expert rider looking for a directional board to hang in any condition. It is fun on groomers, pretty easy in choppy snow, and should ride pretty well in powder too.

I badly needed to upgrade my board, and first started looking for boards with good edge hold as I was tired of washing out on the super icy/hard compact runs that are at the station closest to me. I went for the Dynamiss due to the reviews I found saying the edge hold was amazing but not as aggressive as other boards, and have to say I completely agree. I felt like I had so much control on this board, it was a wickedly icy weekend and I didn't wash out once (my butt was grateful for this). Turn initiation is a dream and carving is so much fun--felt super stable. It's an aggressive board but also a board you can just enjoy cruising about on. And that design? *chef's kiss*
