  • Excellent Anti-Fogging

  • Excellent Lens Options

Negatives

  • Expensive

Summary

The Smith 4D Mag Low Bridge Fit has an exceptional field of view and anti-fogging but with a ton more foam over the nose. It's the first Smith Goggle that fits my face well. I don't have a low bridge either. These are the goggles I use when I'm snowboarding, and I haven't found a better choice. I will be using these goggles in almost every snowboard, boot, and binding review.

Vs. The Regular 4D Mag

No real difference except the foam around the nose.

Fit

Usually large field of view goggles just don’t work for my medium sized face but the Smith 4D Mag Low Bridge Fit really works. It fits my face soo much better than any other Smith Goggle I tried. It finally feels on par with Oakley’s fit around the nose but with Smith’s anti-fogging. The regular 4D Mag isn’t bad at all but the lack of foam around the nose didn’t work for me. I don’t think you have to have a low bridge nose for this to work for you. It actually feels like most goggles throughout the industry.

Anti-Fogging

The Smith 4D Mag Low Bridge Fit hasn’t fogged up on me once. Even on some short hikes. On long hikes I take them off because nothing can withstand the steam I generate when exerting myself.

Field of View

There is nothing better that I have found. The first few weeks I got the Smith 4D Mag Low Bridge Fit I couldn’t get over what a wide field of view I had compared to the Smith IO Mag. Those goggles were good but these are on another level. Check out our review of the 4D Mag to see more of what we are talking about. I’ve never been able to see so much of what is happening around me. It made me a better, but even more importantly, a safer rider. It’s easier to see where you are going and where everyone else is on the hill. I haven’t found anything close to this field of view that can also fit a medium sized face. You can even see your man bits when pissing with them on. You might be able to but that is unpresented with yours truly.

Conclusion

For once with Smith I have a great fit to go along with an excellent field of view, excellent anti-fogging and excellent lens choices. The Smith 4D Mag Low Bridge Fit isn’t cheap but it changed the way I see and ride on the hill.
