Every season we do our best to do extensive testing and comparing of each board in a wide variety of conditions. About the Different Designs and Riding Styles In Our Awards

There are so many different riding styles and personalities when it comes to snowboarding there are many different types of boards made. We’ve noticed one major theme in determining what we call it, and that is the shape and the setback on the board/not the sidecut. The more centered you are on a true twin, the more it’s freestyle, to mountain freestyle. The more tapered, the more directional, the more setback towards the tail is snow surf.
