Summary

The K2 Cold Shoulder has a stiff aggressive flex that keeps it very stable at high speeds. It has a mostly camber profile that has very little rocker in the tip and the tail. The Cold Shoulder is set back (19mm) and has 3mm of taper as well.

Camber Profile

The K2 Cold Shoulder comes with a hybrid camber profile. It has positive camber between the feet and slight rocker on the nose and tail.

Board Personality

The Cold Shoulder comes with a 6/10 flex, and could be a good fit for an intermediate to advanced/expert rider looking for a stable, energetic all mountain free-ride board.

We rode the K2 Cold Shoulder on a normal to hard pack groomer day. We are surprised at how aggressive the board felt. K2 says it is supposed to be an all mountain board, but we both feel that this board would be more for someone who wants to point it down the hill and go fast. That being said, it does have set back and taper, so could be a lot of fun in some soft snow.

This is actually the most painful video review I have ever seen. I could not agree less with you on this board, this board is quick edge to edge, much more playful than you are leading on to be, pressable, fast sintered base and an all around good board. Look at who is riding this thing, Leanne Pelosi in the back country in the North Face Defiance movie, Kennedi Deck in the streets, Hannah Eddy-Side hit queen at resorts. Would say it is nowhere near an old school board, even with the directional aspects to this board, one of the best park boards I have ever ridden.
