GNU Whip 2020 Review by The Good Ride
The 2020 Women’s GNU Whip is a hard charging directional free-ride/all mountain snowboard that does great at carving, feels semi-locked in and should do pretty well in powder as well. It comes with a C3 camber, which is rocker between the feet and camber outside of the bindings, and a medium to stiff flex. The camber profile gives you that semi catch free feeling, but that mixed with the medium to stiff flex keeps it hard charging. The GNU Whip also has Magne-Traction to keep the edge hold on ice up to par with 7 bumps along the side-cut.
The GNU Whip would fit best with an advanced to expert rider looking for a hard charging directional ride that will handle pretty good in all conditions. It likes to make turns, carve and cruise around the mountain, and also should do pretty good in powder as well.
