Volcom Roan Overall 2023 - 2016 Review by The Good Ride
Swipe Right: Great fit for all body types. Good stretch to the fabric.
Swipe Left: Stretchy fabric isn’t the best for waterproofing.
The Volcom Roan Bib gives you a durable but stretchy fabric with a fit I personally liked better around the thighs than the baggier Rain Gore-Tex bib.

I don’t know what is gong on with the Volcom Roan Bib. It’s tighter throughout the leg but I had more room in the thigh area. It was an excellent fit for my body type while looking less baggy than most Volcom Pants/Bibs throughout.
Excellent construction but that is expected for Volcom.
I haven’t tested this pant on snow but with other Volcom Stretch pants as well as stretch material from other brands I found that it just doesn’t block wind and water as well as non-stretch with the same waterproofing. Felt pretty breathable though.
Two leg vents that don’t go that high up the leg so you can vent the crotch as well.
Not a fan of the shallow side entry pockets but everything else is fine.
Volcom Roan Overall Past Reviews
The Volcom Roan Bib Pant is well built, has pretty decent waterproofing/breathability, a little bit of a slimmer fit than most mid fit pants in Volcom’s line and even best, a reasonable price point.

The Volcom Roam Overall is a lot like Volcom’s pants in terms of construction and fit but just a bib.

I really like these bibs. i would have given 5 stars if they had pockets that were a little easier to access. they need to be angled slightly for better entry. the fly could also be slightly longer, but its not too bad. the fit is great, not baggy, but not tight. i am 5'11", 168lb. typically wear 32x34 pant. these fit really nice. i have a volcom jacket also, so you can do zip tech, even though its not needed since these are bibs. i ride in the NW, so it does not get super cold, typically 28-32 degrees. so, its not bad, but if you ride cold or in cold climates, there may be better options. i use them with a midweight base layer and I'm plenty warm. . overall, I'm very happy, good quality pant.
