Never Summer Circuit 2011 - 2010
Review by The Good Ride
The Never Summer Circuit is their only entry-level snowboard. It’s not a entry level price but then again Never Summer never costs a ton of money for the high end. Its also made in the US. This is a lower cost version of the Never Summer Evo R for those who don’t get up there that much or need the top of the line. Yeah, the Circuit is a little slower and not as dynamic as the Evo but the Circuit-R is a great choice for the sub $400 category. The sidecut seems similar to some boards at Salomon but for some reason, we seem to like the edge hold a little better with NS. Our only issue with the Circuit and many boards with Rocker in the middle and camber at the ends is they have a bit of a squirly feeling on harder snow. When you flat base or get off a chair that same loose feeling that makes it fun jibbing isn’t that fun. If you are a beginner to intermediate rider this won’t be much of an issue but as you develop into a more advanced rider you might start to notice this more or just get used to it. For 2011 Never Summer has made some steps in the right direction when it comes to eliminating this potential issue. All in all, this will please most and is looked at a great board for most conditions and any riding level.
