Vans Womens Hi Standard 2016 - 2010 Review by The Good Ride

Better than renting.   This is a super soft friendly boot for learning but it has a drawback.  It’s the very soft toe that lives in the pre over the toe era of bindings before 2003.  If you ride with the strap over the toe the boot collapses, makes you crank it down more and causes pressure on your toes. Or even worse is your bindings can’t crank down far enough to get a grip.  If they stiffened the toe the Hi Standard would be a good soft forgiving beginner boot because it’s all about comfort.
