ThirtyTwo 86 FT 2014 - 2012 Review by The Good Ride

32’s Speed lacing system is slightly different than the others.  It has this latch on the top that holds the laces in place but when it’s open could catch on something if you are walking and break.  So if you get these you need to always keep them in the locked position especially when having a drink at days end.  The 86 is another decent choice in speed lace for beginners.  We prefer the Burton Moto a bit more but both are solid choices for this price range.  If the fit works better with the 86 then go for the 86 because it’s all about comfort. 32 also makes some of the wider snowboard boots out there so if you have wide feet they are worth considering.  If you have more narrow feet then you might want to consider another company.
