The Renogy 10 Watt E-Flex Solar Panel is an easy to use panel that can help you keep your devices charged while camping, backpacking, traveling, or anywhere there is sunlight.

Renogy offers two sizes in these panels, a 5 watt and a 10 watt. I found the 10 watt to be well worth the extra money. It takes up almost the same exact room as the 5 watt but you get double the powder from the sun.

The Renogy E.Flex 10 is a rugged portable 10-watt solar panel with a minimalistic design. It can help you stay charged on any adventure. This panel provides the perfect amount of energy to charge your devices when you are on a road trip, in the backcountry, or even in your own backyard. 

 

The Renogy comes with suction cups so you can stick it onto your window when you are on the road and carabiners so you can clip it to your pack when you’re on the trail. The hard-sided panels make it easy to adjust the Renogy to find the perfect angle to capture the most sunlight. 

 

The Renogy is extremely lightweight (13.0 oz) without being fragile. Because the Renogy is comprised entirely of one material weaknesses where dirt or water can enter and damage the cells are eliminated. The panels are also coated with a water-resistant material. Unfortunately, the USB port lacks a protective pocket and is left exposed to the elements. 

 

The stiffness of this panel makes it great for outdoor use. The rigid panels fold together to allowing it to be stowed away easily. I found the Renogy to be unfazed after bringing it along on many climbing and hiking adventures. It can withstand being knocked around and dropped, which makes it well suited for adventures outside. 

 

This monocrystalline solar panel is extremely efficient. However, when set up in an area with intermittent shade from clouds, the panel had a hard time keeping a consistent charge. Within a few seconds of returning into direct sunlight, the panel would resume charging my devices. While this model of the Renogy only comes with one USB port, most panels of this size (10W) can only efficiently charge one device at a time.

 

The Renogy E.Flex 10 is a great piece of essential gear to add to any outdoor adventure kit. Its simple and durable design is worth investing in. This is panel is reliable and as long as the sun is shining, it will always provide you with energy.
