Pro-Tec Ace Freecarve 2013 - 2011 Review by The Good Ride

A good mid-priced helmet that does its job and has a nice design twist to the standard skate helmet. These guys are the pioneers of skate protection so they should know how to keep a dome safe on a usually softer surface like snow. The one issue is the lack of venting.  It just doesn’t have much and will suck if it isn’t a cold day.  If you run cold then this is a good low-cost solution to protect whatever you have between your ears.
