How This Review Happened: We spent our precious Good Ride dollars to purchase this product and test it out.

Testers: Maxi

Weight: 3.3 ounces

Taste: Maxi really liked the taste of the Beef Stew. He liked the consistency of the meat and vegetables in the stew too. It was very satisfying and filling after hiking all day. He is a big meat eater and was happy with the amount of meat that this meal came with.

Re-hydrate Time: We were testing this at just under 10,000 ft, and made it according to the directions. 5 min then stir…then 4 more min. Maxi said everything was cooked through.

Overall

If you are looking for a hearty filling meal in the backcountry, you might like the Mountain House Beef Stew. It has a good flavor, and comes with big chunks of meat, potatoes and vegetables.
