Packability

The Helinox Chair One really does pack down into a very small package for being a chair. But it also stays comfortable at the same time. It is simple and quick to break down and to set up as well.

Durability

There really aren’t a lot of things that could break with the Chair One. The leg system seems well made and simple, and the fabric that makes up the seat felt very durable to me. If something does happen, Helinox has a 5 year warranty.

Functionality

If having a comfortable place to sit in the backcountry is high up on your list, the Chair One could definitely fix that problem. Or it would be super easy to tuck away in the trunk of your car so it is ready to bring on any random adventure. It has a simple, compact design that allows for comfort without being bulky or heavy.

The legs can be a little wobbly sometimes when you move around in the chair. But not to the point of tipping over, they just twist underneath you sometimes.

Overall

The Helinox Chair One would is an affordable and lightweight option for a camp chair. It maintains its comfort while still being light and compact.
