Ecovessel Aspen 2023 - 2020 Review by The Good Ride

How This Review Happened:  Steph Owns this bottle.

The Ecovessel Aspen bottle came in my July 2020 Cairn Subscription box. You can check out everything else that came with that box here.

Testers: Steph

Durability

I toted this bottle around everywhere with me for about 2 months. Hiking, road trips and daily activities. I kind of expected the glossy finish on the bottle to chip or scratch, and so far it still looks good. It is made out of stainless steel, so the bottle itself should be pretty durable as well.

Functionality

I tested the temperature and insulation rating on the Aspen quite a few times. I will say, it kept my drinks cold for quite a while. Like fresh out of the fridge cold. I found it depends on the outer temperature as well, like if I left it in my car on a sunny day it would obviously change the insulation time somewhat. But I found that it kept my drinks super fresh and even carbonated and cold for 12 hrs. After 80 hrs the drink was cool. Cooler than outside temperatures but I wouldn’t describe it as cold. This could be because of a variety of factors. But I kept the bottle closed and with me for 80hrs and that’s what I found.

Their hot rating was right on. I was able to make tea from the water after 7 hrs ( I filled it with boiling water).

And after 16 hrs of boiling water being in the bottle without opening it, it was still too hot for me to pour the water over my hand. So I feel like 16 hrs is accurate for hot temps.

Overall

The Ecovessel Aspen bottle makes for a great water bottle, or insulated bottle that can be used in many situations. It has a stylish design, and is slim enough to fit in any side pocket or cup holder. I didn’t feel it held up to the 80hrs of cold insulation, but it kept my drinks very cold during any of my activities I took it on. Probably longer than any other insulated bottle I’ve owned. And it is a pretty fair price for a quality product as well.
