The EMS Icarus Jacket is a very well built good looking puffy that fits me pretty well and has a good look to it.  It’s a nice quiver jacket.

James’ Specs:
Normal Specs– 5’10”, 205 lbs,
Upper Body– 44” Chest, Torso Length 23” (collar bone to pant button), Shoulder Width Approx 22”, Arm Length 19.5” (pit to wrist)
Lower Body– 34” Waist, 42” Hips, 30” Inseam,  24.5” Thigh
Turn On’s: Size L Jackets that fit well around my chest.  Size M Pants that fit well around my thighs so I can get in and out of my pockets.  New gear and especially my super-hot wife.
Turn Off’s: Size L Jackets that don’t fit well around my chest. Size M Pants that I can’t get up over my thighs.  Traffic and people who can’t park inside the lines.

With all those rings in the design, it gives you the impression that it would make you look like a small Michelin man but instead it fits very well and not like a typical puffy. It’s got a good fit and feels for my specs.  It fits around the shoulders very well and has a flattering design for my slightly atypical body. It fits around my shoulders well and doesn’t feel super puffy for the moderate amount of insulation.

It feels pretty warm and it’s something that is great in moderately cold to even cold but dry weather.  The waterproofing isn’t all that but there is definitely some there for as they say light rain and snow.  Its profile is best for providing a good amount of warmth underneath a shell but it’s equally good as a jacket for on the hill when it’s not super cold and there is no precipitation in the future.  I’m not too sure about the breathability because it’s not really specified but it seems to breathe well with me.  I run a little hot too so it seems to regulate pretty well.
