Summary
The Arbor Swoon Camber is a more aggressive version of the Swoon Rocker. The positive is the Swoon Camber doesn't catch like camber with the lifted sides near the tip/tail but the negative is it floats in powder like traditional camber. This video review is on the 2022 Arbor Swoon Camber, but is still accurate for the 2024 model. Just some material upgrades and top sheet changes.Where To Buy

Arbor Swoon Camber Snowboard Written Review Review by The Good Ride
Ethics Statement: We don’t get paid by the manufacturer to write these reviews. No one is perfect and we do make money from the “Where To Buy” links below, but this is our best attempt at an honest and objective review from an average rider’s perspective.
How This Review Happened: We borrowed this for an extended demo and then returned it.

Days: 3
Conditions: Spring conditions here in CA, icy mornings with slushy afternoons.

Boots: Vans Ferra Pro
Bindings: Union Milan
Set Up: 20″ Centered 15 front -15 back
Board Sizing: 143, 147, 151, 155
Camber Profile
Mostly positive camber. The Swoon Camber comes with a traditional positive camber that mellows out towards the nose and tail. And has lifted fenders at the contact points.
Edge Hold
The Swoon comes with Arbor’s Grip Tech. 2 bumps along each sidecut near the toes and heels. This adds a little extra help on ice. In a way it replaces the contact lost with the uprise fenders, and moves those contact points closer to your feet. Good for hard to icy conditions.
Flex
5/10 flex. This keeps the Swoon feeling stable when riding in bumpy snow or choppy terrain. It has a nice all mountain flex. The Swoon takes some effort to butter it, and keeps its stability at higher speeds. It also adds to the pop and energy of the board.
On Snow Feel
The Swoon Camber has a stable feel on snow. It is not locked in and isn’t loose. Somewhere in the middle. The benefit of having the positive camber is there but the uprise fenders keep it feeling catch free when turning.
Turning Experience
It takes a firmer hand to make the Swoon Camber turn. But it is responsive and likes medium to fast riding. The Swoon is geared towards that advanced to expert rider who has some power behind their turns.
Steeps
The Swoon does well in the steeps. There’s a good connection to the snow and a nice stable feel in steeper terrain. It is pretty responsive in the steeps when making quicker turns.
Groomers
Fun all mountain on the groomers. Can ride at higher speeds while still feeling stable. Likes to carve. The positive camber and stiffer flex helps it to lay down some trenches in the snow. Likes to ride fast but will still turn at slower speeds.
Off Piste
Can handle off piste riding. It is fast to turn, and you can turn it in some tighter situations. The camber profile isn’t super locked in so you can make last minute adjustments if needed in bumps and trees.
Freestyle Personality
The Swoon can take some laps through the park. It isn’t ideal for the beginner park rider, but would be fun for a rider who already has some park riding abilities. It has nice energy and stability, so it’s fun on jumps. Not ideal for jibs unless you already have some jibbing experience. Not ideal for learning new freestyle tricks on, but it is somewhat catch free because of the uprise fenders so there’s a little wiggle room there. Would be more for halfpipe and jumps.
Powder
It is a directional twin, so you get a little help in powder there. Set all the way back you get 1.81″ of setback on board. Which isn’t much. The uprise fenders help the nose to stay afloat a little bit. It won’t do too well if the snow gets too deep. But should be ok for some mini powder days.
Who Is This For?
The Arbor Swoon Camber might be good for an advanced to expert rider looking for an all mountain board that can offer some performance. Someone who likes the feel of a positive camber snowboard and wants a little bit of a stiffer ride.

Arbor says for the 2018-2019 Arbor Swoon Camber they made the board a little lighter and adjusted the flex to give it a little more pop and faster turn initiation. But other than that its the same Swoon as previous seasons.
