Soul Pocket Rocket 2020 Review by The Good Ride

The Soul Pocket Rocket looks like a typical super floaty swallow tail but it has one difference. The camber goes past where the nose tapers which is pretty un-common. To us, that makes it a pure powder only ride. That extended camber in the nose fights the sidecut and makes it really hard to turn if you get it in medium to hard snow. I’ve had some experience with extended camber boards like this and they are no fun on medium to hard groomers. So I kept in deep snow and had a pretty good time with. I wouldn’t want this as a resort powder board unless it’s all powder everywhere and no firm snow. For me, the Soul Snow Wave was more my kind of weird ride but we all have different kind’s of weird. Especially if you like full on super camber rides that can still float in the deep deep.
