Flex: The SNB100 Women’s has a nice medium flex. It is forgiving enough for a beginner rider, but not too soft where the ride is unstable.

Camber Profile: This board has a flat to rocker profile. The middle section is flat on the snow, and the nose and tail are curved up. It has a little bit of a wider waist width so it could accommodate a larger boot size as well.

On Snow Feel: Because of the rocker on the nose and tail, this board is very easy to turn. If the board is flat based on the snow, it does tend to pivot a little bit. This mostly happens when skating, or getting off the chairlift. The flat section between the feet adds some stability to the mostly rocker profile.

Edge Hold: This board likes medium hard snow to soft snow. It does ok in ice, but not outstanding. There is no sidecut disruption. So this board thrives more in good snow conditions, and medium hard snow conditions.

Turn Initiation: I felt the SNB100 was quick to turn. It takes almost no effort to change edges and it also has a catch free feeling.

Turning Experience: This board has a smaller turn radius, small to medium turns are its favorite. Great for those riders learning to turn, the more timid rider that wants a forgiving ride, or someone who likes a more playful feeling board.

Skidded Turns: Skidded turns are easy to make and the preferred turn type of this board. Which means it would be a good choice for a more beginner to lower intermediate rider working on speed control.

Carving: The SNB100would rather skid a turn than carve a turn. It doesn’t have much energy out of the turn because there isn’t any positive camber to snap back when changing edges. So you can carve a turn, but they will be more mellow carves.

Powder: For a directional twin, the SNB100 will ride pretty well in powder. The rocker on the nose and the tail will help it to float, the wider waist width gives it more surface area on the snow, and it is also slightly directional. You can set it back a little more as well to get added directional float. It should float well in most average storms and even be manageable on deeper days.

Speed: Because of the medium flex, I felt the SNB100did pretty well when going fast. It was stable and turned quickly and should be able to handle any speed you get on a beginner/intermediate run.

Uneven Terrain: Since it is so easy to turn, it is pretty easy to ride the Dreamscape through uneven terrain. It will want to turn around bumps and choppy snow, not charge through it. It also turns well through mellow trees and bumps.

Switch: This board is a directional twin, so riding switch is almost the same as riding normal. The difference is minimal. It is also a forgiving board. This makes it a good choice for learning how to ride switch.

Jibbing: This could be a good choice to learn how to jib. It has a nice forgiving flex, it is easy to maneuver, and won’t be catching an edge if you drop off a box in a weird place. The only part that could be lacking is the pop. The pop when doing an ollie is around a medium. But would be good for learning some beginner jib features.

Pipe: Probably not great for a super pipe, or a pipe with icy walls. But fine for a small mini pipe that’s full of slush.

Jumps: The SNB100 would work well for learning to jump. It would be good for learning freestyle on smaller features.

Overall: The SNB100  is a forgiving, easy to turn board that would be great for the beginner learning how to maneuver around the mountain. Someone looking for a catch free turning experience but doesn’t want a super floppy board. It is also a great board for those on a budget. It is a forgiving all mountain learning board that could fit well with a beginner to intermediate rider.
