Fit

The fit is flattering for a build like mine and I could easily own this.

Construction

You don’t have the ultra high end zippers but you have top notch construction. All the seems look great.

Waterproofing/Breathability

Gore-Tex makes this great for wet weather. I like smoother outer layers that help shed off moisture easier but it isn’t bad. It will take a lot to get through that Gore-Tex Membrane.

Hood/Helmet Compatibilty

The Burton Pillowline Gore Tex Jacket has excellent helmet compatibility.

Cuff/Glove Compatibility

You have very wide cuffs that can also go tight to fit a glove over it.

Pit Zips

Meshed pit zips. Nothing to say here. They vent.

Pockets

You have 4 outer pockets and the inner pocket has some insulation for your phone. You have 2 big goggle pockets as well.

Powder Skirt

Typical pow skirt with the jacket to pant interface

Conclusion

The Burton Pillowline Gore Tex Jacket is a great jacket if you want insulation and excellent waterproofing.

The Burton Gore-Tex Pillowline Jacket is a 2 layer Gore-Tex  Jacket that was just too big overall in a size large. The arm length was OK, however the length in the torso was too wide and long. I would like to try a size medium for comparison purposes. It is constructed out of a very soft 15 denier Gore-Tex fabric that felt very comfortable.
