Summary
The Grayl Geopress is the big brother to the Grayl Ultralight water purifier. It filters and removes just about everything you could think of that could be contaminating your water. It is beefy enough to use without worrying about breaking it, and will fit easily into any side pocket of a backpack for hiking or travel.Where To Buy

How This Review Happened: The company sent us this product for an extended demo.
Testers: Steph
Weight: 15.9 oz
Dimensions: Height: 10.4″ (26.5 cm) Diameter (at base): 3.4″ (8.6 cm)
Packability
The Grayl Geopress is a little larger than its smaller counterpart the Grayl Ultralight. It will still fit in a normal side pocket of a backpack, and holds 24 oz of drinking water. It is a little heavier and bigger than the Grayl Ultralight, but it comes with some extra features that the Ultralight doesn’t have.
Durability
This bottle is super durable. I have owned the Ultralight version for a while now, and use it a lot. I traveled with it all around Asia for a few months. And I have used it on a regular basis for the past 6 months. I am also not super careful with my things and so far it has survived without a scratch. I feel like the Grayl Bottles are built to last and won’t damage easily.
Ease of Use
The Grayl bottle makes you work a little bit for your water. It is fairly fast to filter 24oz of water (roughly 15 seconds). It uses pressure to push the water through the filter, and can get a little difficult to push when the filter gets older. But that’s how you know it is time to replace the filter. One filter can last up to 300 cycles, or 150 liters. Grayl also has a zero wast recycling program for old cartridges which is awesome.
But it is a pretty simple system for filtering and purifying you water. You simply fill the bottle up, and turn the drinking spout 1/2 way to release air, and push the filter through the water.
Overall
If you are looking for a super durable water filter bottle that can purify water for you anywhere you decide you are thirsty, the Grayl Geopress does just that.
