Summary
The Burton Con Artist is a board that keeps coming back but rumor is that this is the last season it will be made for a while or forever. Burton's Family Tree line has been a lot of fun to ride over the years and this is no exception.Where To Buy

Burton Con Artist 2018 Review by The Good Ride
It feels like a new take on the Branch Manager but with a lot of it’s own unique super turny personality. It’s all about quick surfy turns and good pop. It’s even not bad switch for how directional and tapered it is.

Ultimate tree board
This board is super fast turning, can carve pretty awesome and has reasonable amount of speed. Floats pretty awesome too. Not the greatest on steeps but not bad. Used mine for a 2 weeks at revelstoke and this thing is all i used. So good in the trees and pow. So glad i got one in the quiver.
when i know there are trees and pow
I own the original release '12/13 ConArtist - different construction then this one but i believe the ride dynamics have been preserved. This board only gets used a handful of days a year and for the most part these are backcountry, treed runs in light kootenay blower powder. Almost always sled access days. I also had the recent opportunity to ride this board in Niseko, Hokkaido.
I ride this board with burton genesis X bindings and ION boots.
If i am in the trees and powder i love this board - quick turning and slashy. I ride this opposite a Burton Barracuda and believe in the tight trees and changing conditions the ConArtist has the edge - stiffer nose, shorter tail - just performs better in those conditions. Also the stiff tail, while short, can provide just enough pop to get a little bit more fun. Also the ConArtist can perform on the groomer if needs be - holding a carve and bombing through crud.
This is a board i have taken great care of to keep it for those few deep days in the trees. I hope to have it for years to come.
