Summary
The Jones Shralpinist Stretch Bib's waterproofing doesn't feel as strong as the rating, but it's very light, breathable and very stretchy. For 2024 the outer layer was upgraded to be thicker.Where To Buy

How This Review Happened
We were fortunate enough to visit the Jones headquarters in Truckee California and film this review in their beautiful new studio.
Fit
These bibs have a normal fit. Not too tight or baggy.
Construction
The Jones shralpinist stretch bib is made with a super breathable four way stretch fabric. The bibs are lightweight and soft to the touch. No crinkly gore-tex sound with these. The seam welding and stitching on this bib is very high quality.
Waterproofing/Breathability
30K waterproof / 30K breathable ratings. We haven’t field tested this outerwear yet but it should hold up to its ratings.
Pockets
4 pockets total. 2 large front zipper pockets with a mesh media holder. Two smaller zippered chest pockets. One side entry and one top entry chest pocket. No rear pockets.
Gaitors/Cuffs
Standard boot gaitor.
Venting
2 large zippered side vents on the outside of the thighs. No inner crotch vents.
Liner
The Jones shralpinist stretch bib has an almost silky soft lining. Feels great against the skin.
Conclusion
I really like the concept of this bib. Highly waterproof and highly breathable. A great touring or resort bib. I will have an updated review at the end of the season for the stretch bib and jacket. Feel free to reach out via email or instagram message to check in on how the Jones shralpinist stretch bib and jacket combo are performing anytime during the season too.
