Summary
The Burton Reserve Stretch Bib offers up some pretty stretchy fabric compared to the old reserve bib and has a little baggier fit to it.Where To Buy

Fit
This is a pretty flattering fit that is pretty normal. Burton has been going a little more baggy these days and it’s good to see.
Construction
There is really good construction happening for a bib of this price point.
Waterproofing/Breathability
The 15/10K waterproofing and breathability is reasonable for this price point. I’ve tested lots of Burton 10/10K jackets and they hold up to the rating pretty well. As long as you keep the outer layer clean and waterproof it stays that way too.
Pockets
Lots of pockets happening with the Burton Reserve Stretch Bib. Two upper pockets, 2 front pockets and 2 scrapey velcro back pockets.
Gaiters/Cuffs
The Burton Reserve Stretch Bib has that cool height adjustable cuff so your cuffs won’t drag and scrape. Very cool. They don’t retract all the way once you use it but it’s worth it.
Venting
I love the continuous venting with the Burton Reserve Stretch Bib that goes from leg to leg and opens up the crotch to cooling. There is a lot of heat happening down there.
Buttons
Love the 2 buttons at the waist here. Wish there was one more button at the top where the bib starts though.
Waist Adjuster
2 waist adjusters that do a good job at adjusting to people who are a little smaller than the suggested size range.
Liner
I like the Taffeta liner at the top of the bib but I’m not a huge fan of the really thin mesh throughout your legs. It makes it more breathable than other liners but it doesn’t protect the membrane as well as some liners do.
Conclusion
Overall, both Grant and I loved this fit and its functionality. Get the Reserve Gore-Tex bib if you need more waterproofing. If you don’t, save some cash and go this way.
Burton Reserve Bib Past Reviews
The Burton Reserve Bib Pant is the same cut and design of the Gore-Tex Reserve Bib Pant but at a lower cost option for those that don’t see as much wet weather but still want some strong waterproofing if it does happen to come their way.
