The Bonfire Emerald Snowboard Pants are a partially insulated, regular fit pant that has a decent waterproof rating and a nice fit at a great price point.

Fit: Regular fit with articulated knees and a little flare at the boots. They had a good fit around the waist as well.

Construction: Seemed to be well constructed.

Insulation/Warmth: 40g in the seat and knees, would make a good all season pant with room to layer for the colder days.

Waterproofing: 15k waterproofing, so should work in most situations except for the real wet storm days.

Breathability: 10k breathability

Packability: Normal packability.

Overall: For the price point of $149 you get a nice pair of pants with some insulation and good waterproofing. The only thing I wasn’t into was the pockets, you get two small front pockets that were weird to open and close and two back velcro pockets. But if you are cool with that, the Bonfire Emerald pants have a nice simple style that gives you good value as well.
