Torch Electrek Heated Base Layer Shirt 2019 Review by The Good Ride
The Torch Electrek Women’s Heated Base Layer Shirt is a great option for those of you looking for that extra boost in keeping warm. It comes with battery-powered heat, an adjustable heat setting, and a pretty comfy feel. The battery bank was kind of in the wrong place if you want to snowboard with the shirt on, but I was surprised how long the battery lasted and was happy with the amount of heat it put out when I did use it.

The Torch Electrek Women’s Heated Base Layer comes in a unisex size, so it’s basically a men’s sizing that they come in. They run a little big, which I didn’t mind because I like the extra room in my snowboarding clothes, but it is definitely not form fitting.
The heat was well placed and put off a lot of warmth. I loved how long the battery lasted, and it charges up pretty quick too. The placement of the battery didn’t make much sense, it is right at hip level, so bending at the waist is difficult when the battery pack is in.
There is a quarter zip down from the collar, and a chest pocket as well. The material was semi-stretchy and double layered. It made the shirt very comfortable to wear and it moved and stretched well as I was being “active”.
Overall I think the Torch Elecrek Women’s Heated Base Layer is a great option for those looking to up their warmth game. It is easy to use, seems quality built, and has long battery life. ( I was able to use it 3.5 hrs on high before it died) It is also comfy and warm as just a base layer as well without the heat.
