How This Review Happened

We were fortunate enough to visit the Jones headquarters in Truckee, California, and film this review in their beautiful new studio.

Fit

The Jones Peak Bagger Jacket has a slightly tight but really flattering fit and cut. It really flatters my uneven featured build with short arms, a thicker chest, and a longer torso.

Construction

The material on the Jones Peak Bagger Jacket is really, really stretchy, thin, and light. The interior lining feels excellent on your skin. I don’t know if I’ve ever felt another jacket feel as good on my skin before. It feels more like a first layer against your skin than your last layer and that is great.

Waterproofing/Breathability

Not to sure yet. Come back to this after I test it on the mountain. Feels very breathable just wearing it in town.

Hood/Helmet Compatibility

Excellent helmet compatibility. There is room for just about any dome under this hood.

Cuff/Glove Compatibility

I’m so glad they made a wider cuff for snowboard gloves instead of go with the more alpinist style cuff like Patagonia does.

Pit Zips

None, but this is really breathable, so it might not be necessary.

Pockets

2 large hand warmer pockets and one medium-sized chest pocket. Then you have 2 skin pockets inside.

Powder Skirt

None.

Backpack Compatibility

My backpack waist straps all go over the top of the Jones Peak Bagger Jackets hand warmer pockets. It’s usable but it does cover the top to where it might be tough to open and close the zippers.

Conclusion

This might not be the best daily driver, but this might become my best friend on warm days and spring riding.
