Packability

For everyday camping or keeping in the trunk of your car, the Terralite chair is super compact. The carry case is only 14.5″ x 6″ x 6.5″. For backpacking, this would be a piece of gear that is on the bigger side. So it would depend on if you are a luxury backpacker, or an ultralight person.

Durability

The Terralite chair is made out of 600D oxford nylon mesh, the legs have reinforced sides and pole sockets, and the legs are made out of rustproof 7075 grade aircraft aluminum. The legs really feel quite sturdy and durable. The chair part comes with an almost canvas feeling material around the mesh that seems like it will last a long time.

Functionality

This chair is easy to set up. I especially like the added Velcro strap that keeps all the legs together for storage. The legs almost set themselves up for you. The chair part takes a little effort to get stretched onto all the poles, but it isn’t very difficult. The Terralite Camp Chair surprised me with the lumbar support it has. The Terralite Chair has a nice back support while still being relaxed, and you almost get arm rests with the way the sides fold out too. It can also support up to 300 lbs, so the legs are nice and stable.

Overall

I think the WildHorn Terralite Camp Chair is a great little compact option for a comfortable seat on the go. This could be a great camping chair. Or just a chair to stash in the trunk of your car for any situation. It is simple and easy to set up, and seems super durable too.
