The Vigilante Tech Padded Shorts with Tailbone Shield isn’t a bad pair of shorts for the person that wants their but completely protected.  It’s not D3O but it does have a hard shell for the tail bone and pretty good padding everywhere else you need it. It pretty much covers the main areas of where you fall when you snowboard and it’s a pretty good choice.  It’s pretty solid protection for the jib park, park and also for those who are learning. There is also the Vigilante Light short that gives you even more breathability if you run hot.
