MSR Dynalock Ascent 2019 Review by The Good Ride

The MSR Dynalock Accent offers up some newer tech like a pretty light and somewhat sturdy build, quick deploy design folds, big powder baskets, good grip up top and all that you need for some slackcountry to even real backcountry adventures. I wish when folded it would lock in more and wish it didn’t have that small button as I’ve seen other poles with this tech freeze on me and make it massively difficult or even not possible to break down.

Ethics Statement: We don’t get paid by the manufacturer to write these reviews.  We do make money from the “Where To Buy” links, but this is our best attempt at an honest and objective review from an average riders’ perspective.

How This Review Happened:  We spent our precious Good Ride dollars to buy this and test it.
Size: 120cm-140cm Pole
Days:  2
Conditions: A few early morning slackountry ascents with Drift Boards.
