Taste

Maxi thought that the taste of the Mountain House Beef Stroganoff was a little light. He said it wasn’t bad, and he liked that it was so creamy. He just felt the flavor was a little lacking. But Maxi did like the amount of meat that it had.

Re-hydrate Time

We made this according to the instructions. 5 min…then stir…then 4 more min. Everything hydrated fully. We were at just under 10,000 ft when we cooked this meal.

Overall

If you are looking for a creamy pasta dish for the trail, the Mountain House Beef Stroganoff might hit the spot. And if you feel the flavor is on the lighter side like Maxi, it would be easy to throw in some extra spices before the hike as well.
