Kammok Roo Double Hammock Video and Written Review

The Kammok Roo Double Hammock comes with super soft recycled material, a 500 lb weight capacity, and is large enough to fit two people.

Weight Capacity: The Kammok Roo Double can hold up to 500lbs. Enough to support two people without issues.

Carabiners and Slings: There are two Dyneema slings with Kanga Claws™ carabiners to support the hammock. The carabiners and slings both seem to be nicely constructed and should hold up for a long time.

Fabric: The Double Roo is made with GravitasX™ 40D diamond ripstop nylon. The fabric feels soft to the touch, is 100% recycled, has a DWR coating that makes it water resistant. The stuff sack is also made of the same fabric. The hammock is comfortable to lay in, I did get a little static electricity from time to time. But I was in a super dry climate, mostly it was fine.

Gear Loops: There are 8 gear loops around the outside of the hammock. Two on either end, and three on each side. Not all hammocks have this feature, it is a nice addition if you use it for backpacking or camping.  

Python Straps: I used this hammock with the Python 10′ straps. This made the set up very simple, and kept the whole system lightweight and compact. You can check out the review of the straps here:

Overall

The Kammok Roo Double Hammock has some nice features. I like the gear loops, and the feel of the fabric. I’ve always preferred larger sized hammocks, especially if I’m going to sleep in it. So the size of the Roo Double was great, and enough room to hang out with someone else as well. Additionally, I like that it is made with 100% recycled fabric, and comes with a lifetime warranty.
