Burton Impact Glove 2013 - 2011 Review by The Good Ride
The Burton Impact Glove is probably one of the best gloves with built-in wrist protection gloves out there. It’s well made and well designed. As you can see below it doesn’t spec up to other regular gloves but it does fit incredibly well for a protective glove so take that in consideration when reading.

Widest Part of the Hand 4.5”
We had our friend who was a beginner buy these gloves and ride them for about 20 days last year. All in all, it saved him about 10k in hospital bills. He stacked allot like all beginners and was pain-free getting up each time. Compared to the support gloves this has more wrist protection and really is made allot better for impact…..hence the name. When they were under the jacket you didn’t even notice you were wearing wrist protection. It’s great to wear protection but it sucks when everyone knows you are. The look is pretty cool too. It reminds us of a variation of the Dakine Stingray Glove with its futuristic styling.
They did soak up on the wet days but last year they were mostly leather. This year the material is better for drying quickly and there is also a rubber palm. Smart choice since most beginners will have their hands on the snow a lot more than most riders. We’d really like to see a Gore-Tex insert along with this for the price. This year’s gloves will do a lot better than last years and dry allot faster.
All in all, this was one of the best protective gloves we reviewed.
