Bern Tailbone Protector 2013 Review by The Good Ride

The Bern Tailbone Protector offers very comprehensive protection from your ass to your lower back.  It’s definitely worth the money for a beginner but it’s going to be a little noticeable under your pants. The extra protection riding up past the tail bone to the lower back is a great idea but it’s going to be a little tighter around the waist. The other problem is the PVC Micro Shell with is a plastic like a shell.  It helps create an extra protection barrier but makes the range of movement a little awkward too. The mesh design is breathable but there is no zipper or velcro or buttons so you can easily piss. Still, it’s a good idea if you want to have more padding than just your tail bone.
