Burton Gore-Tex Under Glove 2014 - 2013 Review by The Good Ride

The Burton Gore-Tex Under Glove is a nice one glove solution that runs on the warmer side for those that run a little cold.

Ethics Statement: We don’t get paid by the manufacturer to write these reviews.  No one is perfect and we do make money from the “Where To Buy” links below, but this is our best attempt at an honest and objective review from an average riders’ perspective.

Size Tried: Medium
James’ Specs
Width Across The Knuckles: 3.5”
Middle Finger to Wrist 7.5”
Widest Part of the Hand 4.5”

For the price, you get a lot of waterproofing and warmth.  It can also vent a little but it’s not a great glove for venting. The upgrade from rubber to a faux leather is a nice improvement and it makes the glove contour your hand better.

There is a good amount of insulation going on in these gloves but the insides never come out or get screwy after you pull your hand on and off. Not many glove companies stitch the liner this well.

These Burton gloves are bad.
they were expensive for their quality
These were the first real pair of gloves i bought, before them i had a Aldi pair that were like $20 had them for 4 seasons, not a problem apart from getting my fingers a bit cold on rainy days.
I finally purchased these gloves. On the first day i found my fingertips were cold, i used my inner on the next sunny day and they were fine( I was happy ). and the next season i used these i discovered that after only 3 days the microfiber material was cracking and splitting. These gloves were basically pointless on miserable days my hands were absolutely freezing with the inner on as well. i tried giving these back to the store i bought them from with a receipt and they refused saying the cracking material was just wear and tear.
Overall this product is useless, and badly produced.
