Flow Era 2013 - 2011 Review by The Good Ride

The Flow Era is a decent beginner freestyle version of the Flow Merc. It has a extruded base that is slow but durable and easy to maintain which some don’t mind and others don’t want. The Era also has a very forgiving freestyle flex and a decent continuous rocker shape. The continuous rocker in the Era is catch free but not soo loose between the feet that it becomes squirrely. It’s not a bad board to start out with and continue to develop with. If you want loose but not too loose and a fun do most things in the park along with a freestyle approach to the mountain the Era might be a good call.  Aside from a few tweaks the 2012 Era is pretty much the same board as it was in 2011.
