Nike Women's Vapen 2014 - 2012 Review by The Good Ride

The Nike Women’s Vapen is a great entry level plus boot.  Nike went pretty high when it came to price for their boot line so it’s nice to see the Vapen join their line. This looks like the Nike Zoom DK but it’s actually a softer boot.  Even thought it’s pretty soft it’s still pretty responsive. We like the little lace cinch on the higher end Nike boots but for 2 bills it isn’t that bad without it.  You can still use a mountaineers knot to secure the bottom and the top locks pretty well.  Nike knows how to create a comfortable boot around your foot so even if you don’t like them in the snowboard industry you can’t knock the craftsmanship. For a $200 boot you don’t usually get this kind of ankle articulation. We at The Good Ride are fans of their boots and feel they are worth a shot. This is one of the better boots in the $200 range and will work with a wide variety of riders. It’s also a boot that a beginner can really grow with as well as an advanced to expert rider on a budget can enjoy as well.
