Summary

The NOW Vetta Women's Bindings are a super damp fun ride. The Skate-Tech hinge system makes the bindings ride more like skate trucks than snowboard bindings, and the incredibly soft footbed makes for a chatter-less ride down the mountain. The only thing I would like to see would be a better high-back adjustment to really give you the freedom of customizing your stance. But either way, with or without the extra high-back adjustment the NOW Vetta Bindings are a solid all-mountain freestyle choice.

Highback Flex

Medium. The highback on the Vetta is really comfortable and you are able to move around and butter if you want. I guess I was wrong in the video, the company website says the Vetta has the Flex Hinge highback which is only pre-rotated to 5 degrees, not 10 degrees, but I didn’t seem to notice it too much when riding.

Boot Adjustability

Adjusts great for your boot, they have tool-less adjustability which makes it nice for on the fly adjustments. Just don’t crank them down too hard, as it’s difficult to get them loose again without a tool.

Stance Width Adjustability

Very adjustable.

Comfort

Very comfortable binding. No hot spots, the straps fit great around the boot, you are able to bend and flex your foot/ankle and it feels great.

Boot Support

Great support when flexing and turning. Your boot stays in place without any pressure points from the straps.

Turn Initiation

Very fun turning experience on the NOW Vetta bindings, the skate-tech gives it an interesting feel when switching from edge to edge.

Buttering

Butterable, but NOW bindings seem to be a little less buttery than other bindings.

Ratchet System

Fluid and easy to use.

Shock Absorption

Very good shock absorption, one of the dampest bindings I’ve ridden. The footbed is very comfortable and you feel no chatter at all from the snow under the board.
